Business Development Manager Print E-mail

As a Business Development Manager you will be reporting to the Managing Director, and will be required to undertake sales activities and develop sales strategies and plans to achieve market share, sales and profit targets.

To be successful within the shortlist for this opportunity you will ideally have the following skills and career attributes:
  • 3+ years experience in Complex Solution Sales
  • The ability to identify market opportunities to grow the current client base;
  • Establish strong relationships with major alliances to ensure opportunities for revenue are maximized;
  • Manage alliances to ensure all technical and sales support requirements are in place;
  • Develop sales tactics to exploit the identified opportunities, including defining and packaging the products and services that meet the needs of the client;
  • Establish relationships with the existing customers to Maintain and grow the existing revenue base; and     
  • Provide information on sales pipeline, contact management and account management plans for sales forecasting purposes. 
  • A proven sales / performance bonus structure which ideally can be shown to your recruiting officer.

Experience dealing with a wide range of senior decision makers, a persistent and resilient work ethic are highly desirable, while you will also demonstrate an affinity for hands on operational involvement are most desirable.
