Under the contract, VMV will supply Downer EDI rail with :

• 9 different types of LED Lighting units, specifically designed to suit Downer EDI's requirements.
• Through Life Support for the lifetime of the trains (30 years).

The main contract will run for approximately 36 months with lighting units being built within VMV's Melbourne facilities. The contract will create employment for a number of people, with continuing work prospects for the future.

This contract built upon the considerable expertise that we have developed in the field of LED lighting. As a result, we are confident that our LED lighting products will place Australia at the forefront of lighting technology world wide“.
